Financial Assistance and Scholarships
Financial assistance is currently available to eligible students entering Grades 4 through 8 and may be available to both new and returning Howlett Academy families. Financial assistance is not currently available to international applicants.
Students must meet Howlett Academy’s admissions or re-registration requirements before financial assistance can be considered.
Financial need is assessed independently through Apple Financial Services. Families applying for assistance must complete the Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) application and provide the requested financial documentation directly to Apple Financial Services.
Apple Financial Services reviews each family’s financial circumstances and provides Howlett Academy with a confidential assessment of the amount the family can reasonably contribute toward school fees, together with a recommendation regarding financial assistance.
Howlett Academy makes the final decision regarding all financial assistance awards, taking into consideration Apple Financial Services’ assessment and the financial assistance funds available for that academic year.
Financial assistance is applied as a reduction in tuition fees. Families receiving assistance must reapply annually, and awards are not guaranteed from year to year.
The deadline for financial aid applications for the following academic year is November 15.
